thanks
edit: I already have the ps2 versions and stuff hooked up. I was interested in having the arcade version since some of the songs i like to play aren't on the playstation versions. Plus i don't like changing discs so often. haha

No. I imagine that the sound output will be kind of strange seeing as how the speakers are set up on a DM machine... but best of luck to you if you can do it.
Oh, and you'll probably only manage to get a very early mix to work, as anything past DM10th uses PS2 or PC based hardware, the former being VERY fickle about things and the latter being VERY hard to find for a good price.

You would need to build a supergun because you would not have controls for the buttons (to scroll through the menu), and you would not have a TV running the game (because arcade monitors have a special refresh rate), and even if you hook it up to a computer monitor, chances are you would be able to make the game playable. Last time I have seen someone do that, they were lucky to get a very muffled screen.
But in theory, with alot of work... its possible to get the game running. Also the drummania PCB does have MIDI input, so its plausible that you can hook up a electric kit (DTXPLORER or DTXPRESS) and be able to use that in the game. I am not sure how the MIDI runs within the game, so I cant help you there.

you can connect you drumkit trough midi plug, so that you won't have input lag.

Plus besides all the Drummania songs you get, you also get custom songs too.

Total Tokens: 1,688.61 Donate Tokens | yeah, I actually have a dtxplorer and play at home almost every day... when I go to the arcade on weekends I always have to waste credits to get used to the timing, size and distance to the screen, which is a pain in the ass

Timing does not take that long if your TV is calibrated good on Drummania, but if you are using DTXMania, you are going to have some problems, especially if you are playing of a TV as a monitor.
