Marketplace Rating: 0 | WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?! (4/3 CS question) So I just passed what I believed to be Day Dream on Extreme, bass. I played Expert mode and put in the Extreme code, then did the rigamarole to get to the Encore stage. I passed Day Dream with a death-flashing bar, and input my score. I then proceeded to go to Free Mode, where I was expecting to enjoy a good round of failing Day Dream on the regular guitar.
It's not unlocked.
WHAT?!
What's the criteria for unlocking Day Dream on the different difficulties? I failed it on Expert Bass last time, but passed it this time; did I need to play it on the regular guitar in order to unlock Extreme? Someone please tell me what the hell is going on.

Maybe someone else can offer a reason?

Marketplace Rating: 2 | How the hell do you get DD anyway? I've gotten an A on CP2 (I think with like 2% miss or something) and didn't get Encore Stage. Is there a certain difficulty you have to play on to get it for the GF part, or do I need to FC?

Also, I remember it being in a weird spot...not where I expected it on the song list.
I hate playing CP2 to get to Encore stage I guess Bass mode makes it easier, but it's not as fun. Quote: |

You need an S, not an A I think, as th Extra Stage on Expert mode or higher (not as the Encore on Normal Mode). Try playing it on Bass Mode. You're forced to play DayDream on Bass, but at least you can replay it in free mode.
I hate CS 4/3 I like a lot of the songs, but I hate everything else about it. Quote: |

The ony songs not normally on the list are CP2 and Daydream, and if you go into Free Select (R,R,R,G,G,G,B,B,B,G on mode select menu), then CP2 is playable anytime and the only song that isn't on the list is Daydream, which can only be played as an Encore Stage, and after you win or lose on that, it shows up in the Free Play mode, which is a lot like the IIDX CSs' free play mode.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | It should show up if you got to it. It's the last song in the 4/3 group (right before the CS songs). I got it on drums before even attempting the guitar portion of the game so chances are good it has nothing to do with playing it on the drum side.

I got an C on CP2 on Extreme+ and got Day Dream. This is what I was talking about in the unlocking Extra stage thread. Unlocking Extra/Encore is completely random on GF 4th
I got an A on CP2 Bass and didn't get Day Dream, but I got an C on CP2 and unlocked it. Completely random like I say

And I'm sure it's not because I'm turning it off during autosave - it just likes to kill my file for some reason.
Kinda off topic, but what's the code to switch to Extreme+ mode during song slection (IE Free select)? I tried one I saw on gamefaqs a long time ago, but it didn;t work I kno the code for Extreme, but not Extreme+.

I can get Extra stage every time by S-ing all 3 stages but I'm clueless about how to get Encore stage (DD). I've tried to get it on Drummania expert by playing extra stage over and over getting A's and B's on CP2 to no avail.
Any clues ?

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Well, I got to the Encore Stage after I got an S on CP2, so I guess the only way to get DD is to get a S rank. I'm not sure if adjusting the drum level in the options menu would make CP2 any easier (I haven't played 4/3 for a looong time) but try turning it to 1.
Or you could try Phil ver0's way; getting a C on extra stage and see if you get to encore stage. He was probably playing GF, though.
