Default Where can I get a Drummania KOC with a stand?

I was looking at this one (Buy Drummania Controller (Playstation 2) - Order Now!), but is it really a Konami controller? I know it says that it is, but a google search of the Topway controller seems to yeild very similar images. I heard that the Konami controller was the best one, so I'd much rather get it over the 3rd party ones. I also think I'll need a stand for it, so where could I obtain one of those?

I wouldn't buy a 3rd Party Drum set... The Konami is a good quality set for what it is.

The 3rd Party one isn't that great, when you hit the Tom 1, Tom2 also goes off. I bought one many years ago and my friend bought the Konami one and his worked much better than mine.

that pictured, would be the Konami controller. Topway is pretty bad, I have had to fix mine about 3 times by opening the controller, and fixing the wiring, and pads so they trigger.

I've seen a few DM KOCs with a stand in some stores around Akiba. I forgot the price exactly, and shipping is probably going to be killer. A lot cheaper than buying a DTX though.

Getting the official Konami Controller, while more expensive than the Topway, it's quality will overshoot the price.

The ones on ebay are ridiculously priced b/c of the shipping. I suggest asking Jumbo to get you one. Shipping will still proabably be high, but not as bad, and you'll come out spending less money in the end

Though if you can be really patient and just wait it out, I suggest saving money and getting a DTX set. I've only got the Konami Controller and have been perfectly happy with that, but for more serious gameplay, I've been looking into getting a DTX now.

I second the DTX recommendation. I only have the KOC and, while it was good in the beginning for learning to separate my hands and feet with timing and everything, it really isn't the same as playing in the arcade at all. I rarely bother getting my controller out anymore as I pretty much got as much out of it as I can. Playing 80s+ on it is kind of just a pain, and the pad layout can mess you up a little for the arcade if you get too used to it.

However, if you're not looking to get serious about it or play in the arcade much, or really play a whole lot in general, the KOC will get the job done for you. The sensitivity is perfect and I've never had a problem with mine other than constantly worrying I'm going to destroy the foam in the pedal. (which I still haven't completely done)

Edit: If you do go for it, I can totally vouch for Jumbo. Got a DJ Station pro through him a while back and I could not be happier with it :3

You wouldn't recommend him getting it from the website he posted?

I know it might be more expensive than going through Jumbo but would it be a viable place to get it?

Yeah, thinking about getting it myself...

Then again there's a guy at a local Anime-screening-place (The first decent one I've found that isn't completely filled with screaming fangirls and whatnot) who's in Japan a lot and has a buy-things service he runs, not even for much profit, like maybe AU$5 profit for each item...

I actually didn't look at the link he posted. I assumed from his OP that it was a topway controller, which I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

With that said, it appears to be an official KOC, and if you can get it for their price ($99.99) with only $5 shipping as listed, then I would take that deal.

I suggested going through Jumbo, b/c he could viably find a used one cheaper.
