Default Yamaha Electronic Drums

So, I'm planning on purchasing a set of yamaha dtxplorer. I've heard these are pretty cool and the best for drummania.

But can I get some opinions from other people who have it or have something different?

definitely worth it for drummania ASC..
more than that, its a real drum that you can practice without complained by neighbours
satisfied enough, best value between price & performance (maybe dtxpress III sp or DTXtreme IIs better but for me too much money to spend with em, cuz im just a gamer not real drummer - even though getting better at drum through drummania )

ive upgrade several times from DM KOC, ION/DrumXtreme/Pacific Digital, then DTXplorer. at least ive all experiences with those drum controller

im getting one for xmas and looking into it its pads are closest to the arcade
although the DTXPress III will be alot more useful if you play l in a band or making more robust tracks the DTXplorer i have found is the best bet if you can afford it

I went from Topway (crap) to Bafo (so so) to DTXpress III (decent). Dtxplorer is more than enough to play drummania and about 300 US dollars cheaper

Any recommended websites as to where to get the dtxplorer? All I ever seem to see is dtxpress III.

Locally the only store that has them for me is guitar center and the dtxplorer is running at 849.99 which seems pretty steep.

That's pretty much what you're going to be seeing them for. I think the list on those is $1000ish so even that's a decent price.

Cheapest I've seen them new in my travels is $779, so yeah $849 is far from bad for a brand spanking new one.
