Default Banked Tokens

Hi everyone. I've deposited some tokens in bank and I have some questions. First, what is bank for? I mean, what difference does it make if I put my money on the bank when I can just stay with it?
Second, I can't get my money back. It says I don't have enought points. How do I get those points? And why do I need to pay for my money?
Sorry about these questions, they may sound stupid, but I didn't find anything that said something about bank. Please help me.

If the tokens are in the bank at the end of the day (in most areas, anyway), 2% interest is added to what you have.

As for trying to retrieve them, try a lesser number and see if that works. The only way it wouldn't let you pull them out I know of (given that I can transfer in and out with ease) is attempting to overdraw.

edit: ...no, no, apparently we are both suffering from "cannot withdraw". Well, I know it was working earlier. Depositing's still allowed freely, though.

edit 2: Withdrawing small amounts lets me pull things out, but trying "382" doesn't. Nor "382.70". 300's okay, though. Weird.

You must click "Withdraw" to withdraw tokens. If you hit "enter" (or "return") on your keyboard, it will think you're trying to deposit tokens, and give you a message saying you do not have enough points.

Edit: Oh, and I noticed (before this edit) that I had 506.42813 tokens (from withdrawing .005, etc. from the bank) and on pages it displayed 506.43, which is why I couldn't withdraw that amount. Apparently tokens from posting, and interest takes the extra decimal places into account, and doesn't round the result.

That must be the problem, but I hit Enter that's probally why I can't take too much out of it at once. Thanks for your help. =)

About the bank interest, is it just me or I have noticed that I can only get my daily interest if I'm online only?

uploading songs? I think you mean uploading simfiles. I'm pretty sure you don't get any tokens for submitting sims. It was turned off (for a bit, and maybe longer) for people who have lots of simfiles to sumbit. :/

2.00% interest: every 100 tokens will net you two tokens in interest. (You'll get smaller percentages if you have less than 100, though, so no worries.)

Simfile uploading gives no tokens at the current moment, and may or may not in the future (talk has been given of a potential upload limit for the day allowing tokens to be made available from simfile uploads.)

Yeah, that seems to be the way it works. The bank will tell you when your next interest payment is. It seems that you must hit the forum sometime after your scheduled interest payment before the bank will set a time for the next interest payment (24 hours later). So, if you never touch the forums for 30 days, you won't enjoy 30 days worth of interest; you'll only get interest for one day when you visit the forums again. Thus, it seems to be an incentive to have you visit bemanistyle.com everyday. Of course, this may all change in the future, but it does seem to be working this way at the moment.
