Information about the Infraction/Warning System

The Infraction system is now in place to warn users that they are doing something wrong. This will help everyone, now we will know if there is a problem user more easily and you will know if you are doing something wrong before you get banned.

A moderator can give you an infraction for breaking the rules. Each infraction expires after 90 days. Once you get 5 infractions you will be banned until one of your infractions expire. If a user continues to be a problem, we will permaban them.

You should be able to see your Infractions in your profile as well as other information about them.

Question: Is it true that once you reach 5 infraction points, you're permanently banned instead?

No, after you reach 5 infractions you're banned for a few months. You're unbanned when the infractions expire.
