Need help with Bloody Tears(IIDX Edition) simfile and video

I heard VLC Media Player is needed to view many DistorteD videos, but I'm trying to work on the StepMania simfile and resizing the background video from 320x240 with no sound. As you can see, I'm using VirtualDub and the dialogue box appears saying there is no frames found, then it cancels before I can do anything. Any help would be appreciated.

VirtualDub can't handle MPEG-2. Try VirtualDubMod.

If this works, expect Bloody Tears (IIDX Edition) to be submitted after a week or two. If not, I'll let you know.
