Noobish questions

Okay.. io have a lot(well.. mabey not that many, but a fair few nonetheless) of questions.

1) what are the things under a user's name on forum posts? the circle things with 1-8 in them

2) what are tokens for

3) what is the best way to get tokens

4) how can i change my title? currently it is //bemanistyle::[User] and i wanna change it!

5) what is the bank interest, and is it automatic, or do i need to be online daily to get it?

6) howcome when i post a song i dont get tokens, ever!!

7) how do i know howmany downloads my song have?

1) With normal users/members, value increases with post count.

2) Tokens are for spending money in the forum shop, or in the media shop.

3) Posting efficiently. If you are abusive with your posting, you are likely to be banned.

4) Enter the "Shop." Costs 1,000 tokens.

5) 2% on whatever is in the bank, and it places interest with the rest of your banked money. I believe you must be logged in for it to take effect.

6) You're not supposed to get tokens.

7) Find your simfile, and find the number after "Downloads:".

I think that's pretty accurate.

Ok. thanks , they really helped.. i still dont quite get the circle things under ur name tho, like, how many posts do i need to make it go up? and if im not supposed to get tokens from uploading songs, how come when i upload the song it says "You gained 0 tokens for this submission" Or something similiar

The token mention when uploading hasn't been removed due to the potential of it coming back (but for now, all simfile uploads are set to "give" 0 tokens, so the "You have received 0 tokens" message appears.)

The numbers beneath names change at certain levels of posts. To my knowledge, nobody aside from the mods/admins knows what the levels are precisely past a certain point, but the currently known ones are:
1 = 50 posts.
2 = 100 posts.
3 = 200 posts.
4 = 400 posts.
5+ = ?

ok.. one (hopefully last question) how many tokens were given for uploading songs? like.. was it based on how many u submitted, or was it based on filesize, ETC...

I recall the original setup being a certain amount per file. (I'd wait until the people running the site announce that uploads grant tokens again, though, if that's all you're putting them up for, and make sure they're YOUR files.)

As for the avatar... you seem to have discovered how to put one of those up.
