Default Problems with new layout?

I know that we're in the middle of an update and what not, but the new forum skin causes my browser to hang for a moment while it loads before working again in both Safari and Firefox. I've never had this problem with the red skin. It's getting a bit troublesome when it comes to viewing long threads and browsing the forums in general. Any reason why this is happening?

Not to mention... uh, I like the blue and all but is there a way to switch between skins?

I don't want to be a dick or anything, but I guess it's better that it's let out now before it gestates and becomes problematic?

Will pay good money for a DDRX2 poster/archstand.

I've tested in Firefox and Safari and I can't recreate the problem.

We may make the red forum theme available as an option as soon as we have everything switched over.

I have another problem.
On the main page, the news items just show up as white boxes, and I have to highlight the text to read it. (I'm on Firefox.) Has anyone else gotten this?
EDIT: JUST got fixed.

Too much white.

And white on white is a bad idea. Having to highlight a whole page to read text is not good.

Fixed? I just came from the news pages and had the same problem.

Os X 10.3.9, Safari 1.3.2

It is because the stylesheet is cached on your computer. Hold down shift or ctrl and press refresh and it should be fixed. If that doesn't fix it, delete your temporary internet files.

The simfile download page is a little bit of a pain to read right now (the "click here to download file" link is still on the red, but appears in the new black text).

The Recents Ratings window (at the side of your Recent Comments) have all the names of both the simfiles and the people that left the rating white, needing to be highlighted to get seen. Ah, and on the Recent Comments the nick of the user is on white too Being a pain to read them... Please fix them!

See ya!
<Dj DMAxel> aka Kyon

PS: Ah, I don't have that problem for the text on the forum, and I'm using Firefox on Windows XP BTW.

EDIT: Fixed, thanks ^.^

Something must be done with the white text in the "Moderator/Administrator" title as well.

EDIT: fixed, thanks
