Yeah, I've noticed for a while now that we no longer get tokens for editing messages, so it's not just you.

Making a website Donation now gives you tokens. You get 50 tokens for every $1.00 donated. There is a "Make a Donation" link on the home page of the website, make sure you are logged in when you click it. The tokens will automatically be added to your account after the donation has been completed.

Tokens have no "real" purpose. Having a few will let you pick out some new media, or tweak cosmetic features of your account, no more.

Also, Razer, might want to fix a typo or two in the first post: "wo doors to the left", and "Two doors to the left" are incorrect (it's "Third door to the left".)

I am fearing the day when this website becomes a P2P, and the next post on this topic is: "Update: You no longer earn tokens for posting. You must earn tokens via donating" or even "Update: You must now pay tokens to purchase Simfiles." As much as I appreciate this site, and the fact that it contributes to the DDR/Beatmania/PIU/etc. community, it just doesn't work. Posting five times like this gives you 50 tokens. Donating $1.00 gives you fifty tokens. Technically, would that not mean posting five times gives you $1.00?

The purpose of donating isn't to get tokens, tokens are just a bonus for donating. The purpose of donating is to support Bemanistyle and to help pay for server costs.

Aha. That makes sense. So the tokens are an incentive like on other P2P sites. Although I hope the server costs won't be so high as to require drastic measures. Especially since there are people out there with billions of tokens who don't want them all to go to waste.

but, almost any website that you pay money to, (if there is a free thing on it too) like runescape or gaia, donating real money scores you in-game items, money, or special area accesses.

Well, I think that everything needed to be said about tokens is now stated clear.

I hope the token rewards for uploading sims will be brought back. Not that I find it as an emergency, I'll leave the decision to you guys.
