Official Simfiles(I need Clarity)

Your term is not to upload Official Simfiles; I have a simfile that has a DDR Official Song, but the steps are mine. Is that okay to upload or do not?

It's okay to upload only the step data. In other words, only the .sm/.dwi file that contains YOUR data.

Sorry for the bump, but for my own closure... does this mean that if I were to upload... say... B4U (Glorious Style) with my own steps, that it would be subject to consequence if I included the song?

The song is a copyrighted work, owned by Konami. Therefore, any redistribution of it without their permission (generally written permission only) would be illegal, and thus, against the rules.

Yes, it's a horrible oversimplification, and I'm not a lawyer, but long story short is don't upload the song itself. The official banners would fall into a similar category.

So yes, to answer your question, you can only upload the .sm/.dwi files.

So... somehow all of this other hardcore copyrighted music that we upload from the latest artists and what-not doesn't apply.
