Default Problem searching for Simflies.

Whenever I go under "Search orginial Simfiles", and I type in a name (For example, I'll type in "Xuxa") and a search criteria, I get no results back o_o Just...nothing. Is the search engine down or something?

Have you tried searching for something you are positive is in the database (as in, you saw it here, then searched for it)? Or are you just looking for things that could possible be not in the database?

I just searched for a file I saw on the sims page, and it came up fine, which tells me that the search engine is working as of now. I'd also like to remind you that the sims database was cleared from when we moved from 6.0 to 7.0, so if you're looking for something that was on 6.0, it's possible that the author hasn't re-uploaded the simfile.

I have the same problem, but I possibly know what it is.

When I search for a simfile, it tells me that there is a javascript error in the page, something with a ")"...

Screenshot :

If an admin or what can look to that...

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what the hell "attendu" means, but being a fluent JavaScript user I can tell that on line 188, someone either forgot a ), had an extra one, or just has no clue what they were doing.

EDIT: Here it is.

[HTML]<script type="text/javascript">
function firstload() {
loadFragmentInToElement('scripts/results.php?offset=&resultsoffset=30&sort=&type=&c ategory=&name=&artist=&username1=&padkey=&wherebpm 1=&wherebpm2=', 'maintext');
}

function changepage(offset) {
loadFragmentInToElement('scripts/results.php?offset='+ offset +'&resultsoffset=30&sort=&type=&category=&name=&ar tist=&username1=&padkey=&wherebpm1=&wherebpm2=', 'maintext');
}
</script>[/HTML]

Dinkus.

[HTML]<script type="text/javascript">
var maintext getElementByID('maintext');

function firstload() {
maintext.innerHTML = 'scripts/results.php?offset='+ offset + '&resultsoffset=30&sort=&type=&category=&name=&art ist=&username1=&padkey=&wherebpm1=&wherebpm2='
}

function changepage(offset) {
maintext.innerHTML = 'scripts/results.php?offset='+ offset + '&resultsoffset=30&sort=&type=&category=&name=&art ist=&username1=&padkey=&wherebpm1=&wherebpm2='
}
</script>[/HTML]

Why? Because farther down you see this:

[HTML]<td bgcolor="#4A0800" id="maintext">[/HTML]

maintext is the ID, not the element. The element is td.

The second parameter of loadFragmentInToElement is the element ID. loadFragmentInToElement does a getElementById.

I didn't see a problem with the page. There isn't a simfile Xuxa, however it didn't return a message if nothing was found, so I added a message to let you know if there are no result found.

The javascript error was with the menu, not with the loading scripts and I fixed that error a couple days ago so there shouldn't be an error now.

Sorry for my reply, I know what the problem is.
I was searching a song containing a ' and it has pretty fucked all the system...

If you want an advice, and if you have time, make an if statement to verify if there is some caracters that would fuck all ^^'...
