ratings?!?

so i was looking at the simfiles, and i haven't really been on since b-style 6.0, and im noticing that no one is rating the simefiles why is that?

People prefer just downloading simfiles and not giving back to the community.

Eventually we're going to set some rules so that you have to rate simfiles.

In conjunction with this question, I've already received two ratings on my simfile, yet it still says N/A. Is there a reason for this?

EDIT: I found the 2 ratings by clicking on the N/A in the ratings column

Once your file gets 5 ratings it will be calculated.

If people are forced to rate simfiles, can we be sure they'll put effort into it, or rate intelligently? I, for one, don't want to see a bunch of people rating all 10s or all 1s just to be able to download more sims.

That'll be something we can possibly hope for that doesn't happen. I know people take their work personally, but I believe it's totally up to the user.
