I dunno if this is the right place to post this question, but as it's probably my fault and not a bug, I'll post it here...
I've just uploaded a new simfile to the database ( http://www.bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=9906 ) and on the upload screen I added the .sm file to also be uploaded for the stepchart display. However, when I look at the newly uploaded sim, there's no difficulty being displayed.
I've tried renaming the .sm file and resubmitting it, but nothing appears.
The .sm file contains Single, Double, and Solo steps - I thought maybe the Solo arrows were causing a problem, but removing them from the submitted .sm file doesn't help.
The problem should be fixed now. I wasn't aware that Stepmania allowed Double-Beginner songs. I went ahead and allowed the parser to allow Double beginner songs just incase. You should be able to edit and submit.
Hmmm, when I tried to add the .sm file, I get this error...
MySQL error 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'UPDATE site_sims_simfiles SET s_beginner = '', s_easy = '', s_normal = '', s' at line 2 When executing: UPDATE site_sims_simfiles SET simfile = '8840pirate.sm' UPDATE site_sims_simfiles SET s_beginner = '', s_easy = '', s_normal = '', s_hard = '', s_challenge = '', d_beginner = '', d_easy = '', d_normal = '', d_hard = '', d_challenge = '' WHERE id = 9906 WHERE id = 9906
It works!!! Well, mostly. It doesn't show the difficulty of the Double Begginners steps - but who cares? The rest show up fine and that's good enough for me!
When you look at the song on the song's main page (where the difficulty table is), the Double Beginner slot shows the Easy Double's difficluty, but when you click on it, you get the Beginner stepchart. So it looks like my song is 4 feet on beginner, when in fact it is 1 foot. Click it, and you get the correct information.
I'm sorry, I'm causing headaches (and being one). I'll try not to break everything again.
