When did all the media files become MediaMonkey ones?

Last week I got my downloads, the mp3 files were all Windows Media Player ones. Today, they're all MediaMonkey! I don't get it! I checked files already on the computer and found them to all be MediaMonkey files as well! This has me confused. I have no idea what on earth is going on with the mp3 files whatsoever. Is this also going on with the OGG files? Thanks in advance.
