Am I a troll?

Seems like most recent discussion has been centered around the "N.T.M. upset". Sparing you the details, I was eventually labeled a "troll". I'm just curious as to how many believe that. I'm also still unsure as to what promoted these accusations to begin with. It couldn't possibly all be attributed to that single political comment could it?

I've also been getting the "you're dumb comment" continuously with nothing backing it. Even mods have participate in this. Seems like with such poor examples of good posts and no rules to adhere to it should be no surprise that such stupidity continues with no end.

So what's the dealio?

in short you are a troll but you are not trolling intentionally

you are so blind to the reasoning behind the attacks against you that you assume they are frivolous which thus makes you look like you are intentionally drawing the ire of the populace when you are, in fact, very very confused

the confusion as to why we think you are dumb is one of the primary reasons that we have concluded that you are dumb

The whole idea is just don't try to be a bigshot. Even IF you are always right, and the rest of the world is always wrong, its not much of an endorsement of your "greater intellect" if all you do is put people down.

Not that I care the slightest but if you want to avoid being a troll: Stop calling people names or labeling them with uninsightful personal remarks like "you are dumb." Even if you are just joking, people will assume the worst, especially since we can't detect sarcasm. In your eyes, the mod's aren't always right but don't use that as an excuse to argue back.

Let the dead R.I.P. and that goes for the same with old posts. Old posts have their morbid humor exhausted and its pertinence to us resembles a rotting moldy corpse when brought up again.

Don't start topics/polls that end up in flame wars. Ex. global warming, macs or pcs, god or allah, genesis or big bang, to taze or not to taze..... etc etc etc

Just pay attention to how other people post and perhaps you just might learn a thing or two on how to be a respected (albeit meaningless) person on this community.

I used that phrase since it's been thrown at me endlessly. So I guess what you're saying could apply to such users as what's-her-face. And I never intended to imply that others were stupid. At least not unprovoked that is. Take examples like this for instance: "What's the significance of your avatar" the's reply "Shut the fuck up you idiot."

And to fornicate forum boredom: I'm fully aware of my posting patterns and the responses they reap. I've acknowledged that already yet you continue to comment on no "learning curve". End the hypocrisy please.

If you ask someone about their avatar/sig and they respond with STFU you idiot, then just end it and leave it at that. Maybe they were having a bad day, or thought u were being provacative, but either way it shouldn't concern you why they are being rude. Don't stoop to their level by arguing back.

Actually I responded with "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

And that was hoping you'd give some sort of amusing response trying to figure out why I thought the significance of my avatar was so off-limits. In part because at that point you had already established yourself and I was looking for amusement.

Listen to ffb if you actually aren't just trying to be a troll. He's being damn nice to spell those things out for you.
