Converting MP3 To OGG

Hi everyone. I'm having alittle difficulty with the program, "MP3 2 0GG Lab 2004." I just created a step chart for the song "Buttons," by The Pussycat Dolls. The length is 3:52, but I created a stepchart which stops at about 1:30. I downloaded the original song file from Limewire. I copied and pasted it into my USB flashdrive incase something happens to the copied song file. The sm. file is already in the folder. I'm just trying to convert the song file into an ogg. file so that I can play it on the ITG2 machine. When I open up the MP3 2 OGG Lab program, add the file to the convert list, and click convert, a message comes up saying "VBR isn't a valid integer value." If anyone can resolve this, then I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

Another way to convert to .ogg is to use an audio-editing tool that allows you to save a song as an .ogg. I used Audacity for that, but you can use whatever floats your boat.

I've never used an MP3->Ogg convertor... as I just do it with Audacity... >_>

Hey cpubasic, I downloaded Audacity last night and successfully converted my mp3 file to ogg. I even shortened the song so that it sticks to my step chart. Thanks again for your help.

i prefeer CDex conversor, are simple and functionally. i know that is the best MP3 to OGG conversor
