Custom songs on DDR.

I'm sure most of you have seen the update on the main page about you being able to put your own custom songs into Guitar Hero 2.

Well wouldn't it be great if you could do the same with one of the DDR games? I mean, how hard could it be? (once you get passed the coding and expanding the songs file on the disc.) Does anyone know anything about where to start?

Man, I wish I could code. Oh well.

Question, when Konami makes step files to their songs, do they use basically the same method StepMania uses or a totally different one?

I think its similar, but you can not add stepfiles from stepmania, nor any MP3 to the game. I hacked Ultramix 2, and it could not be done, even though it was burned to my XBOX. also MOD if this goes against the rules, edit it.

The problem is that Konami has access to so many resources. That is why PIU, ITG2, and GHII are getting hacked but not DDR.

Either stick to StepMania or go hack ITG.
