First off, is the machine you play on R21 or R23 (the software versoin of ITG2)? If not, barring hacking, then you can't play your personal songs on the machine.

Otherwise, create a folder on the ITG2 folder on your flashdrive, and name it "songs". Place the folder with the song you want and its corresponding .sm file into the "songs" folder. I believe the music has to be in .ogg file format, as well.

I'd refer to post your r21 packs/questions/problems here if you have any more future questions regarding personal simfiles on ITG2 ac.

Well...there's a different way, yo

What you can do is just get any USB card (i have a 512mb USB card) and just plug it in the USB port on your machine. As soon as you get home, plug in your USB card, access your files and then there should be a folder named "In The Groove 2" Open the folder and there should be 4 folders and some other things (leave those alone)

You can get songs off of websites such as r21 Freak(membership required) to get .sm files, but they come in .rar files...so you need winRAR to rip the folders. And I believe that all the songs featured on there are .ogg music files, so no worries

PM me sometime if you still experience problems with custom songs, .sm files, etc.

And I STRONGLY suggest you use the link given above me and they should answer your problems.

I think I solved this mystery...

So, I guess mods can lock this thread

Toodles!
