Event Mode ( I Think )

Sup everyone...

I think I read pretty much every sticky tutorial on the site and I haven't seen anything about this... So...

I've been wondering for a while how to access Event mode for Stepmania... It gets annoying getting sent back to the main menu every 3 songs.

I'm just assuming that event mode doesn't add up your scores after a while and make you enter your name and kick you to the main menu

So any help would be greatly appretiated!

Somewhere in the operator menu. Seriously, figure it out. I think it's under Machine Options.

Its under coin options and causes the game to not make you get a game over screen, rather you go back to the song wheel. also you don't get the final results, instead you can play an unlimited amount of songs.

also, you do not enter your name into a high scores list at any point in event mode, so i think only records on the individual songs are saved.

Scroll Lock>Coin Options>Event Mode>On

In ITG Themes, the default name set if you made a high score is EVNT. I dunno where you can tweak this but I think it's also in the metrics.ini file

Ah. Thanks a bunch guys. I think I spent about a good 20-30 minutes looking for this option and didn't find one, lol.
