By "from IIDX," do you mean that it's an official beatmania IIDX simfile? If yes, then remove it immediately before you get killed. If it's not an official beatmania IIDX simfile, then you're OK.

it is an official song...but they are my steps, not taken directly from IIDX, i don't even own or play bemani just stepmania. i just meant what to catagorize it as, because i saw five-key as an option, and i was wondering-- "does that mean you use the five keys to play the song, or will choosing IIDX mean that it is played on the bemani disc machine?" thats all i was asking for. thanks for the input, but just let me know what you think i should catagorize it as for the future, thanks.

From what I've gathered, you're making a StepMania file for an official IIDX song. That means you should mark it as SM(IIDX).

thank you Phuzion, and thanks for the donation, you've been a big help to me...one problem, i uploaded my file as SM (DDR) thinking that is what system it was supposed to be used for, should i delete it and re-upload it or just leave it as is, and just make my corrections in the future?

When you view your own simfile profile, there are two links next to each simfile. One is "Edit" and the other is "Delete." Pick "Edit."

If you don't know, it's in the "Simulation" dropdown menu at the top of each page you view. It's called "View Profile."

Thanks for all your help guys, i did what you said and edited it, and i had my friend download it to check for everything to be in order, he said it was, i can't thank you guys enough.
