Can anyone show me how 2 get itg/itg2 note skins?

Google is your friend. Search for Metal and Cell noteskins for stepmania. Metal is the default ITG noteskin.

Metal and Cel for 3.9. Just dig around "misc noteskins".

By the way, this belongs in Dance Dance Revolution Simulation.

Download a noteskin and put in noteskin folder .

Do you want a normal noteskin (SM 3.9 RC4) or 3D noteskin (SM 3.95 CVS)?

ITGFreak has 'em. Metal, Cel, Robot, and Vivid are in the sticky for ITG/2 Noteskins, and the thread further down on the ITG3 Dark theme has a D.Metal, D.Cel, and D.Robot (D is Dark). The D.NoteSkins are cooler, but require a higher videocard. Actually, they both do, or you get scrolly arrows for the original 4.

StepMania CVS\Themes

In the ITG2.2 folder there should be a StepMania.ini
Copy that over to StepMania\Data and delete the already existing one there.

If you downloaded the Noteskins, then go to StepMania CVS\Noteskins and delete all the stuff in there. Now copy the dance folder to that location.

Well.. I did put stepmania.ini in it and i started it and it STILL crashed

Hold on a minute... I downloading it (Groove 2.2a) again right now to see whats going on. If you don't have that then you should go download it.

OK... I finished downloading the theme and you get a .rar (Groove 2.2a.rar)

So in there we have:

1 Folder: Groove 2.2a (This goes to StepMania CVS\Themes)

3 Files:

StepMania.ini
Splash.png
GamePrefs.ini
(This 3 files go to StepMania CVS\Data)

Then I downloaded the Noteskins. They also came in a .rar (ITG2NoteSkins.rar).

Before you move over the stuff in here, go into StepMania CVS\NoteSkins and get everything thats in there out of there (delete, cut + paste somewhere else, whatever. Just make it so the NoteSkins folder is empty)

Now that that is done, if you look in the .rar there we have:

1 Folder: Dance (Goes into StepMania CVS\NoteSkins)


Now boot up StepMania CVS and change the theme to Groove 2.2a. Everything should work now.

Theres your problem... You need StepMania 3.95 CVS.

Umm.. mine a an error. Not that it doesnt work its just that i have an error on like a left tap note or sumthing.
