More and more people are buying and loving Macs. To make this choice simply irresistible, Boot Camp lets you install and run the Windows XP operating system on your Mac.
| It's coming out with Mac OSX Leopard. However I'm going to question why the hell you would ever want to waste the opportunity to build a dream PC (I'm assuming that you're not actually going to buy the parts and build the PC, and I'm also assuming that your imaginary budget is unlimited) on a Mac. Sure the Mac cases look pretty nice but they are by no means the best looking cases out there. Also you can't really "build" a Mac.

1) You want to take a mac and put windows on it.
2) You want to take the case of a mac, strip out the parts, and throw in pc parts so you have a, strictly speaking, windows ps in a mac case.
3) You want to make a case for a mac and put windows into it.

If you run windows on a macintosh computer you can expect some compromise in performance. Similarly if you tried to install mac os on a PC usually it doesnt run optimally.
You have nver seen a box to teh Mac os??? Its just a white box and I think there is a giant X on it.

Dude, search the intertran, many projects have been completed | I have. I'm not the best at looking for information so I tryed everything I could think of.
And if it's so easy, could you please look and give me some links? Quote:

I talked to my tech teacher. And he said that it might be possible. The only problem is when putting a pc motherboard in and such, that it won't screw in right depending on the case but he's not sure. He also said that you could modify the case so it would work. And to look online. So I did and I didn't come up with much.
And I like the look of a mac tower. There were few that I liked so if I can't get this to work I'll just look at one of those. But I hope I can.
So please list links, help, etc. Thanks!

Unless anyone here has experience with the said activity, they'll need to search the internet (or in other words, use the same exact method that you would to find the information). Which my mom can do. So unless you're admitting that your ability with technology is lesser than my mom's I'd suggest you stop being lazy and figure this out by yourself.

I've fucking searched already and came up with nothing. All I could find was this one site that was a forum for mac stuff. So I posted it there. And with my luck, the site just went down -.-..
I've tryed googling and ask: mac tower / mac tower to windows / mac tower pc parts / mac to pc
So just help me please. This is a fucking project and I'm needing some help. It's not like I didn't try. I did. I know how annoying it is for someone to ask for something when they can just look a little and it's there. I've tried. I'm just not that great with searching for stuff. Seriously.
So please help.

The search query was "gutting a g5"- first result.

that might fry your system, so don't try it. I'm just spitballing ideas. but yea, it was something that is really easy to find.

If you really wanted to, you could easily take out the stuff inside the Mac Pro case (which is a really nice case) and put PC stuff in it. Although the stuff in the Mac Pro is really top-of-the-line. (I'm saying Mac Pro because G5 towers don't exactly exist anymore.) If you don't feel like doing that and you still want to run Windows, you could just use Boot Camp which allows you to run Windows COMPLETELY NATIVELY, so it's pretty much the same as doing that. Being that it's native, there is no emulation. (Windows runs faster on my Mac than any PC I've seen) | |
