Question How Many of you Play on a IIDX Arcade Machine?

IIDX arcade machines are incredibly rare in the United States (and Canada I guess); it's illegal, expensive, and it doesn't generate that much revenue for the arcade. Do you have one in your arcade?

I basically go to two different arcades. One has an IIDX Happy Sky machine and the other location has a Beatmania Complete Mix machine.

There are zero IIDX machines in all of Virginia. There used to be one, a 6th style, but the monitor went out so Putt Putt got rid of it. (this was before I started playing though )

I've played at four different arcade's with IIDX

First being my first, FFA, when it was a 6th style, currently an 8th
Second being Cyberzone which has and always will have a broken 8th style
Third being A.I. which I played it back when it had 10th style, now a Happy Sky
Now that a moved about 2 months ago, I go to MGL, where all the Arizona people go. A IIDX Red.

Edit: Make that 5 IIDX, Fifth being at Buffullo Bills, 6th style, worst lag screen ever.

I, played the 6th style at the before mentioned Putt Putt in VA before it died... That was my first time passing The Safari. ^_^

I also played 8th style at Dance Beat Arcade in Nashville, TN before that place went to hell and shut down.

I have also played 9th style at Sunnyvale Golfland, IIDX RED at the same place, and it's Happy Sky now, which I occasionally play.

i live in Sydney Australia and IIDX is non existant. practically every other state in the country has a couple IIDX machines but not NSW has none.

so i gotta play at home. we do hav a BM final and a BM 6th. seems like no arcade wants to fork out the money for IIDX....

I would think that Australia would have a couple iidx machines considering that its close to Japan as to the US

i wouldnt say that every other state has a couple iidx machines its just
A) people are willilng to travel far for it
B) most of them are in california

anywho i played on TGA's distorted machine... ive been playing since around 4 months before they got a happy sky (so basically since RED)

I definently do think that playing in arcade significantly gets you better at the game so i have sort of stopped playing CS and try to play at TGA every week or so

keep up playing on arcades guys... it definently pays off (well it did for me)

although on several occasions ive thought about quitting bemani/iidx overall

the local arcade here in hawaii has a happy sky for now. used to have a 9th which was god awful.

we dont get too much new styles here so i usually quit iidx in the time being.

all i know arcade is a whole different lvl from home version.

Let's see I've played on a 5th/8th/9th/RED/Happy Sky at svgl (various upgrades over the years, hehe)
A 6th/8th at San Jose State when they had a iidx machine.

9th/10th/RED when I lived in Japan and I will be able to play on DistorteD once I go back to Japan in a couple of weeks

oh and DARQ lives in Australia, I'm pretty sure he lives close to a Happy Sky machine.

Oh yeah I play RED AC occasionally in Mesa but I am starting to gravitate more towards arcade GF/DM/Pop'n these days but that arcade's GF/DM V2 machines are both broken and they have no Pop'n machine so...not much reason to go at the moment.
