Default IIDX R.E.D. weekly ranking.

Who would be interested in weekly rankings?
Songs of the week?
Courses of the week?
Select set?
Shoot some ideas back. A little healthy competition would be good.

I'd like it if it were set up in tiers since I'm pretty fucking horrible compared to most considering I'm still in that passing every song in the game phase.

And I'd like it were I within 8 hours of a RED machine.

Plus, I'm coding that part of the site anyway, as soon as a few more databases get made.

I dont think it would be that great of an idea. It would pretty much be like the bemanix rankings which didn't have enough players or enough motivation for people to want to go on the days it happened to even participate.

That is why it wouldn't be a meeting at just one specific arcade. There are over 7 Red locations i can think of in the US. People would be able to play were they normally play, take picture or have other voutch for them.

But the problem is there's only 7 locations.

Sunnyvale golfland, Arcade Infinity, Super Arcade, Rosevale golfland, Mesa golfland, That is just the midwest, I know there is at least one in FL. I am sure that there is more than one more location. It was really just intended for players located near machine that want to measure up to other players with access to 11.

Only if the madek show partipates ;D

NAW I think it's probably good. It'll give the other arcade players outside of CA some novelty being able to rank on the newest version and STUFF. And since IR was a flop for US players, some sort of ranking is needed I guess.

I think bi-weekly would be a bit better though. Some people might not be able to make it to an arcade every week.

Are international players able to enter too ? If so, there's two machines in Australia (rumo(u)r of a third one appearing soon).

I like that idea of having IIDX RED rankings but yeah, no IIDX RED near me except for AI.

BUT rumor has it, that the owner of the 8th style at Circus threw down 15k for 2 DDR upgrades, DM and GF upgrade as well as...dundun, IIDX RED upgrade. soo0o0o0o, if that's true, thne wooo, lets get this shit started. dDD!

If not, then someone needs to steal the 8th style machine from Circus.

!
