Hey there might be a forum for this but I cant seem to find it anyway
im new to stepmania and i was wonderin how do u make edits I dunno how to do it when I start it off it just stop automaticly

do you mean in the edit steps mode?

It stops shortly after the last step in the file, so what I do is I find the end of the mp3/audio file and put one step there, that way I can freely move around placing steps and testing. Does that make sense?

Just scroll down to measure 100 or so and place an arrow.

Or, hit the space bar on MEASURE 1, then scroll down to about 100 and hit space again. Now push CTRL+C together and use the UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT keys to start creating your steps!

Also, to change the beat of the arrows you put in, push right. Now you can have more omplex patterns for Heavy steps and the like.

Steps are similar when making a new file. Except that you'll use "EDIT" as the difficulty (right after Challenge).
