Sure, it looks good, and I'm sure it's easier to get around. However the pro's just don't amount up to the con's. In my opinion: the best ever mobile phone would consist of this:
iPhone design and styling,
Sony Ericsson firmware/OS...
...and nothing from Motorola cause they suck in every way (IMHO)

Ill switch when Apple actually starts caring about people's needs, rather than looking cool.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. That's like saying, "I'll buy a Franck Muller 'Crazy Hours" watch when they change it to be more practical, rather than looking cool". You don't buy an iPhone to be practical, you buy it to be pretentious and tell everyone around you that you can afford something expensive that you don't need.
if this is as bad as ipod is to me, using this will make you feel more constricted as opposed to using any other cell phone with similar features. will it require its own program to tether you to only one signal tower?

I more or less will never pick this up. Although I've wanted one for a while, since I heard about it. I'd sell my iPod, & probably a few more things that I can just use in this all in one device.
