wasn't sure where to put this but:
I'm thinking of memento modding my ps2 so I can play IIDX and such, (this incorporates plugging a mem32 memory card into a pc, which it was meant for, and downloading a firmware for it developed by russian hackers that turns it into an external mod chip)
and I was wondering how I should go about getting one that will work with my aussie ps2 (do memory cards have region protection?...) and getting the aus firmware for it, etc.

Because Japanese games are NTSC and you probably have a PAL tv I don't think it's really going to work. But this is the wrong place for this topic. Locked.
