I had CVS3.95 and Groove 2.2 theme working perfectly a while ago (like 2 days ago).

I recently got the ITG2PC game too see if it was any better, the game didnt work on my PC (it just loaded the songs, screen black then it kicked me back to the desktop). So I got rid of it. Then my normal Stepmania started doing the same thing, so I uninstalled everything and installed 4.0CVS and groove 2.3, yet it still continued to do it. Even updating my GPX driver didnt work.

So I formated and deleted the entire hardrive on my computer, reinstalled just 4.0CVS and guess what.

Its still kicking me back to desktop :| WTF. ok help please...

Since you are using SM4.0 CVS it uses a different coding system, so any of the themes from before on SM3.9 would not probably work on SM4.0 CVS.

Though... ATM they are some themes working on SM4.0 so from the forums on stepmaniaonline.com there was post on SM4.0 Themes. And yah here is the link to find them:

- There is public-beta release ITG Theme too... Just remember to read the readme.txt when installing it.

Its beta so might have alot of bugs and one of them is the Online error missing. So ignore that and just play normally.

Edit Nevermind. All good.

Edit edit : Everything works except im still stuck with the old 2D DDR Arrows. How do I get the proper 3D ITG arrows working again? (I downloaded all the noteskins)

3.95CVS / Groove 2.2a (should I just be using 2.2?)
