I agree. Even after two-four months since the machine's arrival, it still feels like brand new. But just to be sure, I requested by cousin (the manager and head in charge of the establishment) and the staff to keep a close watch on the machine.
One example of this would be times when people would go from the Dairy Queen store next door and bring along with them their Blizzard desserts (or whatever you call them) and if they do something careless or stupid while eating, the ice cream may fall on the machine and thus creates a spill. This creates an unpleasant effect to see Ice cream or other food and drinks that spilled on the DDR machine and what's worse, is that it can be a safety hazard as well to the players (food/drinks on pad = slippery). That's why were very careful on this.
Aside from that, I fear that some kids would put coins and other objects INSIDE the e-amusement card slots. Who knows what damage they can inflict to the internals/mechanicals and it would be bad since the readers/writers aren't activated yet (you still need an e-amusement connection).
It would be too bad if there are stupid people who would jeopardize the ONLY BRAND NEW DDR MACHINE in the country. That's why we locals are keeping a close eye on the machine.
In any case, I hope that you (as well as the other people in the forum) would visit and play on our machine if you get the chance. Enjoy it while the pads are still fresh.
Other than that, we are also the CHEAPEST place to play DDR here in Asian region (outside Japan). This is indeed a fact.
So hope that everyone would come down here. Everyone is welcome (tech people to freestylers). In short, no one is barred from entry. (unless of course you or anyone else would intend to ruin our machine).
