r8 to r16 MAJOR PROBLEM

I work at the local arcade and asked my boss if I could install the new r16 patch on our existing r8 crapocab. He said yes, I installed it, it worked fine, but upon rebooting, we found that we could neither access the test menu nor insert tokens/credits. HELP HELP.

I believe R11 and up is for dedicabs only, I may be wrong.

I know that R8 seems to be the best patch for crapocabs though.

looks like you're right. I had to do a factory reset on the machine. No more high scores, but I'll live. Plus I can upload from my card.

Keeping thread locked but just letting everyone know. R16 is for any cab, not just Dedicabs. I run R16 in my upgrade cab and it's great. If you read the notes about R16 you would notice they changed it so you had to hold the service and credit buttons down instead of just pressing them, this is to prevent them from accidentally triggering due to electrical current in dedicabs and korean cabs that have those cheap 12 converters that are NEVER set right.
