All food stalls in Singapore are required to have these grades in order to get their operating liscence.... So, there's A B C and D.... But if you get a D, you won't be forced to shut down.... You have to shut down only if your restaurant got a serious offence, like all your patrons getting samonella or something.... So far, I noticed that all fast-food restaurants and those chi-chi(elegant) restaurants always have As....

I can't speak for Chinese food (not a favorite of mine), but yes, the better the Mexican food, the more likely that you'll see a B/C rating. Before I knew about the grading scale as a kid, I always just noticed that there were a shitload more flies around the good food. (Take that, Taco Bell!)

I've seen more cockroaches in A restaurants than anywhere else, so most of these grades are bullshit.

(Take that, Taco Bell!) | Agreed, Taco Bell' food taste much worse than KFC or Pizza Hut... Once, the news even reported a case of people have pieces of glass and cockroaches in their tacos! *Runs to the toilet and starts to puke* Quote: |

| Which supports this point.... But again, those grades are usually accurate... Hmmm..... | |

The cockroach egg made its way into her jaw and like a few days later it started swelling because the cockroach egg was maturing and starting to hatch or some shit like that. (I dont know bio or would I ever be interested in how cockroaches reproduce) They did surgically remove the cockroach and taco bell did settlement for 2 million dollars with her provided the news didn't reach public.

XP | Actually part of the reason why chinese restaraunts never score A is because they serve too many types of foods and to properly store it all and prepare it in a "A grade" standard would be too expensive. Chinese people lie on taxes, so obviously they wouldn't go the extra mile to provide better food service to anyone.
Not me though, I don't lie on taxes. I couldn't even if I wanted to.
