First off, I must say that I think that these forums need to be more lively. Second off... I don't know how many out there are familiar with my work as of late though I've recieved an excellent response on my stepfiles (in terms of DLs). But my plan, as of now, is to release a new one every time one of my simfiles hits around 75-100 DLs. Today, I was going to release "Mindless Self Indulgence - Shut Me Up"... however, for some reason the game decided that one of the jumps I placed was... imaginary, or something. Press the buttons though you may, it simply would not hit this step, it WOULD, however break your combo. I checked all of the noob mistakes I could have possibly made to no avail and the fact of the matter is that I'll either have to start from scratch, trash the file altogether, or remove the step (which would make the simfile seem... retarded). EVEN AUTOPLAY MISSES THE DAMN THING (and no it isn't a freeze roll or anything, normal jump, not even a freeze arrow).
In addition, I would like to open the request lines, mostly for those already familiar with some of my work and style. I know that there are other threads made for the simfile requests, but those are for the general populous and I would like to recieve requests for MY work in particular. Do realize though that I tend to lean towards songs that would not normally be thought of (Finger Eleven - Good Times) or done well (LoZ - Dark World). I like a challenge and I prefer to swing away from the ordinary as much as possible... for instance, you won't find me doing YET ANOTHER simfile for A... as the damn song has been BRUTALIZED with far too many versions to count. I'm not likely to do many bemani songs with the exception of a few (I might do Voltage from IIDX, but I'm not sure). I only tend to make long version stepfiles (i.e. if the song is five minutes long, then so be it). And finally... I will be making NO keyboard only simfiles... I use a Cobalt Flux with a Parallel Port Adapter and I dislike the idea of putting hours of work into something I can't use it on. I have actually spent time taking files out of the "Keyboard Packs" and PROVING that they CAN be done on the pad (yeah, I have beaten 14s on my feet, it happens).

Because honestly, I like making simfiles, but without hearing if people are actually enjoying my work after playing it then I don't know that I want to continue creating. So basically I either want a "You suck" or "Keep up the good work", but hopefully not summarized quite that much. Thanks in advance for any response I may recieve.
