Dunno if he has all of them though. Still, it would be a start.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | letterboxed jumpbacks? how does that work?
1: SM bg video style borders. which makes no sense since the source vids are 4:3
2: treating the source vids (720x480) as having square pixels.
both ideas are insane. | |

BTW, he says the videos he's released are all he has. That's *most* of the videos from 001 to 665. The higher numbers of those do dip into what's used in ITG2. Unfortunately, the first pack he put out was the one with the higher numbered videos, and that's the one that got letterboxed. Do you suppose it's worth asking him to encode those ones over again for this?

9 = field mixing conversion (naota's encodes. naota told me he can give me proper ones)
0 = misses completely
6, 5 = ps2 rips, but the videos are too short because more can't be ripped. a proper version is welcome.
3 = same as above and also misses the first ~10 frames
9 428_jumpback have (complete)
9 429_jumpback have (complete)
9 433_jumpback have (complete)
9 445_jumpback have (complete)
9 452_jumpback have (complete)
9 457_jumpback have (complete)
9 464_jumpback have (complete)
0 594_jumpback not in ps2
3 760_jumpback have (ps2 rip) not used in scripts but shows in monolith as random entry
3 765_jumpback have (ps2 rip)
6 785_jumpback have (ps2 rip)
5 800_jumpback have (ps2 rip)

It would give Konami even more legal background to use in their ongoing suit against them.
As for Digital Juice, since we would be offering the videos free of charge and on a small scale the worst the company would do is issue us a cease and decist (sp?) order. Since we are not activly trying to ruin their buisness or their profitability we are not a reasonable target for a lawsuit.

No. The ITG development team at Roxor effectively IS the StepMania development team. It's the same people. Furthermore, StepMania is open-source and the license is such that you're allowed to make a commercial product out of it without royalties. That means even if Roxor wasn't mostly the same people as the StepMania team (which they are), they'd still be allowed to use it.
Unless you mean they're comitting copyright infringement against Konami, in which case it would offer nothing new against Roxor that Konami isn't already suing them for.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | beware: Nice. I already made my own list too
Naota has JumpBacks 428, 429, 431, 433, 439, 445, 446, 449, 451, 452, 453, 455, 457, 461, 462, 464, 465, 627, 628, 629, 632, 640, 641, 643, 651, and 657, but they're all letterboxed.
I've got placeholders for 764 and 765, but it's that 25 fps stuff.
Any idea what's different about the versions with an underscore and an extra number after them? E.g. 628_jumpback, 628_jumpback_1, & 628_jumpback_2

Marketplace Rating: 0 | i can use videos, *without letterboxing*, in divx avi, roughly 1.5-2 Mbit (depending on video), for any ones i have in the list marked as:
- no marking
- "incomplete"
- "placeholder"
re-encoding (from the originals) should be done and is the only way to get those vids atm.
i can get a few more vids from ps2 (which i didnt do yet), but they will all have the "incomplete" status.
i think _1 _2 etc are edited videos. note tht roxor seems to have more edits, without special names, mostly giving the video one color.

And I meant that Konami could use their legal action against them in court as evidence. Not that they could sue them again or for something new.
I sent Amy a message. I hope to have an FTP site up soon.

Since the simfiles for Strike is basically completed, I will work on the scripts for them as soon as possible.
Right now, only 2 things are hindering me from working on the scripts:
1) Lack of JP or modded PS2 (leaning towards getting the JP so I don't have to fight over the one PS2 with my brother)
2) My job | |
