I also made a slight change to reflect the DDRUK pack. The song was titled "AGAINST ALL ODDS (TAKE A LOOK AT ME NOW)", right? I decided to change it to "Definitive MIX" to reflect its true originality.
Well, BG Nation usually makes original scripts. I just wanted to create the scripts for those that are somewhat purists (myself included) and only wanted offical scripts.
I thought DDR UK is planning on changing the subtitle from "Definitive Mix" to "Take A Look At Me Now" so I changed that. If DDR UK decides to keep the Definitive Mix subtitle, so will I. But like with my BG scripts, just use want you want to use. You don't have to follow my standards if you don't want to.

I noticed. Thanksz.

Amy, do you have the PSM video from EX2?

And are you sure that there's NO overlap between song videos in EX2? It's nice having single vids AND knowing that there's no waste of disk space.

This rapidshare file looks really big for 4 songs. Are the videos compressed at a minimum rate, Amy? I haven't checked the files out yet.

QXPXQ: I do have the movie. I just need to put it in the script. The movies are basically song specific and usually doesn't repeat so it makes sense to keep them as one long movie.

Dark Coz: I compressed them to the smallest I can get without greatly affecting the quality. I have DivX Pro on my PC so that's the smallest I can get and still get good quality videos.

By the way, what's this Polyvis(???)tian Dances song? Is it in the prelim EX2 pack? I've seen around 6 requests for the video.

Polovtsian Dances And Chorus is one of the new songs in Extreme 2. It's only in the preliminary pack so I cannot release it yet. I do have the movie all set.

I downloaded and watched all the videos you posted in your sample and I would dissagree w/ you about the repeating.
They may be song specific, but it still appears that they use small videos looping or played in various orders. I know that watching Boom Boom and Butterfly I distinctly saw three or four videos used at least three times each. This could cause some big bloating in the file sizes. Many smaller videos, while harder to code, would be much easier on hard drives the world over. They would also fit in with the S2U and MM video naming scheme that is already in place.
A 15 MG file for a single video seems way to big in my opinion.

Unfortunately, it's a pain-staking process to try to split the video and script them. I have to try to catch the repeats with movies that looks alike throughout. It's not MAX/MAX2/Extreme which uses movies that are easy to spot the different movies.
Once, I attempted to do it with the ITG movies, but gave up because of how they did the movies. And I rather not try to split a music video into segments like how S2U did in the past.

Your way is much more disk space and bandwith intensive then S2U's though.
I know it's harder, but this isn't ITG the backgrounds are a lot more individual in DDR.

Also, I forgot to add that the backgrounds done this way are glitch in DWI. Also, they cannot be run at all on older computers. Smaller files are needed for people without up-to-date components to be able to run them and play at the same time.

Believe me, after having merging them from 1-second segments, the last thing I would want to do after all that effort is to cut them all up again.
I'll do what I can, but I can't make promises.
