I have decided to close the SMO forums forever. I am sorry for those who have posted and found useful information on the SMO. Unfortunately there are a few very childish people who have found it funny to continuously, spam the boards, harass the moderators until they give up, betray trust, and discourage the all administrators to the point of indifference.

I know many of you think the SMO boards have gone down hill, and they have, but it has been through no fault but your own. All the moderators have done their jobs, and they have ALL been disrespected and ignored in the process.

I hope you enjoy this last post. Shame on all of you.

OMG.

The SMO forums were a great place to find links to simfiles. Now they're just all going to disappear?

In any case File Central was the only thread I visited.

True.

SmO Forums was the best source to simfiles and packs.... now that it's down, how will "lackers" just leave to SmO Forums and download all the packs as possible?

im not really sure about that 1 but iv already posted the simfile collection to the stepmania homepage so we wont have to really use the smo forum but i might get more if any of you want them

man that sucks. mnnn i wish they would let someone else take over if they don't want to keep it running. but no the dude thinks that shuting down the site will make a differance.... i don't think it will. think about it. those users have to go somewhere. odds are that they heading elither here or ddruk. i just hope they don't shut down for good.

What difference? The administrator is simply tired of it. He's not on some mission. It says nothing of the sort in that message.

ya i agree with you renee that the administrator couldnt take any more of the disrepsect but i wish i could have taken over the forums so that their burdens can be left to me to ttake care of the mess but oh well unless there is some way to make everyone happy they prob dont give a shit anymore

I don't think this means that SMO itself is closing down, just that the admin was tired of the bullshit that was coming up on the forums on a consistant basis.

I know if TGL ended up like the SMO forums, I'd be pissed as hell too, and probably not wanna continue because I'd feel helpless.

There's only so much you can do before your efforts feel like they've gone in vain.

He never said "I'm closing SMO down" he said he was closing the forums down, so I wouldn't worry too much about the service itself.

Well, the File Central became pretty harash and trollish.

Once you create a pack thread... then they say its crap or most common one "penis" shheesh.... And the ones with positive comments well, they are lucky or the allies of the negative user supporters. The Pack thread there died pretty much...

ramyishappy12, Nice job on the backup ^.^ now put that list on your first post then more people know there is some links to grab in the "history of SMO Forum". Some we can remember by... the amazing pack thread.
