i downloaded a file for the song asterisk on this site and i cant play it in stepmania, PZ help

if you mean that you download a song, and it unzips to stepmania, but the song doesn't appear, then i have the same problem

Anyway, this question doesn't really go here... this forum is for site support, not simfile help. Anyway, I'm going to toss you guys into the DDR simulation forum, and hopefully the guys over there will be nice enough to help.

My first guess, though, is either the song isn't in the correct location, or something is missing from the simfile, preventing it from playing. I really wouldn't know, though.

Make sure that you have the proper path:

Example:
C:\Program Files\Stepmania\Songs\(Group Folder)\(Song Folder)

The Group Folder can be named anything (i.e. Anime, DDR 1st Mix, etc.) and the Song Folder is the name of the actual song (in this case, Asterisk). Hope this helps a bit.
