Stepmania in a DDR machine?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the pictures I've seen... could they really have been stepmania programmed into a DDR machine? If so (not that I expect to be able to do it), how do they do that? Does anybody know?

I saw a video on youtube of an arcade in japan that used stepmania on a pc disguised as a DDR machine to play DDR...

It's not that hard... If anything, it'd be better for the arcade, & the people that play there... Better songs, bette variety, better experience...

Konami should start seeing these opportunities & take advantage.
