Stepmania on ps2 (no hacking)

I saw the thread about someone that wanted to put stepmania on a ps2.

Well I first of all want to say this is extremely possible, but possibly expensive. but not too difficult.

There is a kit made by sony, so there is no modifications needed. I just dont know how difficult it would be to run stepmania on that os beacuse im sure its a version made for the ps2, but as linux is open source.... it couldnt be too hard to make it work id you know linux.

You may have to develop a driver to run the dance pads, but there are tutorials around to help you with that.

But if I'm going against any rules I apologize for this, and I wanted to show that you can legaly and very easly run stepmania on a ps2..... that is if you know what you are doing.

Out of Print and that Debian build doesn't support it. I've already tried.

Really, there isint any to make it run with debian? I would think you could install another build with not too much work if you can dual boot the os. I dont think that could be too difficult if you use an external HDD and change the boot kernel to let you choose the root drive.

Nope, because it has a specialized kernel thats made specifically for the PS2 chip and hardware... ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN DOOD

no problem, because if you DO find a linux kit its 100 bucks... and that's just icky. I'm gonna lock this since it's not really useful anymore.
