Things you do when you are furious.

You know when you are so mad at something/someone but you can't do anything about it, how do you deal with your frustration?

For me, I usually play stepmania with headphones (maxed volume), and I SMASH the keyboard (failing the song, but I don't give a damn).
After that, if I'm not cooled down, I just try to sit and relax and breathe. But if that doesn't work either, maybe I put on some extreme music (Black Metal or whatever) grab some old IBM keyboard from the closet, smash it until the keys fly all over the place, and try to break it in half using my knee.
If I'm still pissed, I hit the wall. After all this my hands hurts so much that I don't want to be mad anymore. Instead I go out for a walk, that helps me think.

I wait about 5-10 minutes, because by then I'll have had a mood swing typically for the better.

Err... failing a song on Stepmania would probably make me more mad than before, but if it works.... Anyway, I tend to walk away and do something else. Sometimes I take my anger out on the object (never a person, well... not normally) and immediately regret it afterwards, cause then I have to find a way of putting it together again without anyone noticing.

Example, lame but still: My Sony earphones are the best damn earphones ever IMO, the sound quality is freaking awesome. But I hate earphones where the left bud has a longer cable than the right one, so you have to wrap it round the back of your neck. Well, I was riding to work last week, and the left earphone kept cutting out everytime I turned my head to the right. So I had enough and just ripped the left earphone out from there the cable splits.

So now I have to use the ones that came with my new phone, which luckily are the same.

I usually try to wait too, but sometimes it's not enough : D I just want to go out in the woods with a fat chainsaw and bring a big oak down or something.

Normally, I can brush it off. On those rare occasions when I feel like hurting someone. . .I cry. Seriously. I'd rather hurt my pride than send someone to the hospital.
