About the pop-kun "fields"

I didn't notice this until I got twelve but I was just wondering. You know how in 12, the field looks more slender than in the older ones? Like eight's looks more like a square than a rectangle? I wanted to know what 11's looks like because I want to get it and it would be nice if it was the slender one.

9 and above have the taller playing field. 9 has a probem with the speed the pop-kuns fall being a bit slow, but 10 and above all have pretty much the same play field as 12.

The basic deal is this: 8 and under have a short playing field and slower speeds. 9 kept the slow speeds but increased the field size, so it feels odd to some players. In 10 and up they kept the field size but increased popkun speed to accommodate, so it feels closer to 8 and below.

So 9's really the only oddball since after 10 they made the speed proportionally accurate, though 8 and under have speed issues because they only had up to x4.
