Desktop Arcade:-Its kinda cheap compared to the others.I got a friend who bought this and he says it works perfectly fine.
Konami Original:- Not possible to get my hands on this one,i emailed Konami and they said they wont ship internationally.
DJ Dao's :- Looks good to me , im planning to get this.
Ransai:- My preferred choice but they stopped selling?I emailed them and there wasnt any reply, and their main website was dated years ago or something.I read somewhere they drove a car over it and it only had tire marks after that.
And i have no idea whats those cherry and omron switches thingy even though i read a bit about them and how i should go about customising the controllers though i want lights on mine.Does the machine in arcade use Cherry or omron switches?
Anyone free to advice?Thanks.
Are all of these exactly 1:1 arcade scaled?

DJDao's probably the quickest, and most arcade accurate.

| I have never noticed but thanks for pointing it out.
Need more advice and comments please. What is the different between a zippy micro switch, omron and a cherry switch?

Cherry is softer than Omron. Cherries will register if you brush over them which is good for scales.
Some people prefer Omron and some prefer Cherry. Personal choice.
My arcade uses Cherry, so I bought Cherry.

So just get the best to begin with

So just get the best to begin with | Have you played on any other controller? I don't know about you, but the Ransai Kagura I bought secondhand almost two years ago has been working fine. The most work I've had to have done on it was adjusting and securing one wire.
Random hasn't taken orders in a long time as he's had to shut down the whole controller making business (afaik he still owes people refunds/controllers). DA seems to take some time but a lot of very good players on here use them and they seem to hold up fine, and from what I've heard the DJDao works beautifully. It's a matter of what you can afford, and what works best.
The KASC I hear has issues with their microswitches after heavy use, but I guess some people enjoy the plastic feel better than wood.
If money is no object, it would be agreeable that DJDao's the way to go-- and if you don't like it, chances are that someone in the Marketplace will buy it.

The KASC isn't worth the money. You're getting a snazzy-looking controller with a hollow feel and microswtiches that will crumble to dust after awhile.
You could buy a Desktop Arcade ASC for a little bit less than a Dao. But you'll end up waiting a long time.
The Dao is fantastic and you will not be disappointed with it. The standard button/mircoswtich setup works like a charm and I hear is pretty damn close to being arcade accurate without dropping a LOT of extra money on sanwas or whatever.
Also, if you are strapped for cash at some point, you can get back most of your investment on the marketplace here

Truthfully, unless you're going for cosmetic changes, there isn't much need to customize. I'm told that the Dao buttons/switches/whatever are damn good and pretty much arcade accurate.

Total Tokens: 14,827,481.17 Donate Tokens | I dunno. I've had my KASC for a while now and it's still going strong. No extra-sensivity or lack of sensitivity. Needless to say, it's *just* not worth the extra cash (it *is* the more expensive of the ASCs).
From what I can tell, the DJ Dao ASCs are pretty awesome. Cheap, considering, too... but you have to make sure that he either has some in stock, or is able to send them out to you in a timely fashion.
