 Button Commands for PnM (Arcade versions)
Hi all, this is a thread to teach fellows players about the different buttons commands for PnM... I will put some today... Anyone else can put theirs too...
NOTE: Button commands in PnM 13=PnM 14
AND that this guide will only show commands that are not too obvious...
*At title screen* (Whereby you see Mimi and Nyami with their top hats standing on each side for PnM13 ONLY)
To choose different options BEFORE going in the game...
1. Insert a credit
2. Do NOT press red button yet.
3. Press BOTH YELLOW buttons.
4. Look at bottom right of the screen. You should see the four options.
5. Choose your options as if you are choosing them in song preparation mode.
6. Press the red button when you are ready.
*At mode selection screen* (Whereby you choose those modes like Challenge mode....)
To choose characters instead of going with randomly chosen characters....
1. Press BOTH YELLOW buttons.
2. You should now see icons of the characters on the bottom of the screen, together with a flag saying "13". This means the mix that the characters are from eg Knight and Aloe being in this group as their songs are in PnM13...
NOTE: If you are playing in PnM 14, the flag icon (a rectangle icon with stars in this case) should show "14" with PnM 14 characters.
3. Press one of the YELLOW buttons to change the characters.
4. Press one of the GREEN buttons to change the mix and the flag.
5. When you are ready, press the RED button.
For S-Challenge Mode.... (Thanks otaku1313!)
1. Press BOTH WHITE BUTTONS when CHALLENGE mode is highlighted.
*At song selection screen*
To sort through Japanese alphabet characters and through levels during the song select screen...(Thanks otaku1313!)
1. Choose either "Song Name" or "Song Level" as your mix.
2. Press a WHITE BUTTON
*After choosing a song* (Whereby the character of that song appear on the screen together with the banner of that song)
To choose the options eg "Beat Pop"
1. Press BOTH YELLOW buttons.
2. You should see those options on the right side of the screen.
3. Press one of the WHITE buttons to change from normal to random to mirror to mirror+random
4. Press one of the GREEN buttons to change from normal to BEAT POP to CHAR POP
5. Press one of the BLUE buttons to change speed, from 1.0x to 2.0x to 3.0x to 4.0x to 5.0x to 6.0x....
6. Press one of the YELLOW buttons to change from normal to hidden to sudden to hidden+sudden.
7. Press the RED button when you are ready.
