Okay, so I've kinda been outta the Pop'n loop for awhile now (last version I've played was 11). And I would like to get a new CS version, but I am stuck. I can't decide if I should get Carnival or Fever. I really love the songs on both, but I have no idea about anything else in either game.
So, in your opinions, which do you all prefer? What are some pros and cons of both?
I like both too. But FEVER is buttload of Ee'mall songs. (Most say they are off-timed...) Also with the new FEVER songs and those form the arcade... And herd that the unlock system is easy if you do it right. XD (If you want to do things quick...)
Carnival as usual: AC/CS revivals... I did not get much info, but own the game untouched...
From playing FEVER at the arcade and Carnival at home, I really think Carnival might be better to get. Unless you are really stoked for ee'mall and the FEVER songs.

Previously DDRNemesis, since BMS 7.0 has been gay to me.
They're both a solid bet, although with ee'mall included Fever has a lot more lower-difficulty songs that are still fun to play, since many of them only have Hypers. I'm having a blast with Fever at the moment, and I loved Carnival when I got it. You're good with whichever you choose.

Personally, I found that going backwards in the pop'n series is a little awkward. You miss out on things they add and removed as the series progresses. i.e. I got 8, then 9 and while waiting for 10 I got 7 and it was like going back in time and wondering where options were but still fun. I'd say go with Carnival because it's got just as good songs as FEVER but it also has a lot of song revivals from its predecessors. The charts on FEVER are amazingly fun, though.
I'd say go for Carnival. It seems to have the most solid songlist, as well as songs from 12 as well. It's unlock system is very straightforward too. Fever is fun though too, so yeah..
Awesome, thanks everyone! They both seem to be solid buys according to everyone, so I think I'm gonna go with Carnival. I'll just pick up Fever later on.
Eh, just for song reasons; I like more of the songs on Carnival and Fever. But I do plan on getting Iroha eventually, since I really like some of the AC songs.
