Default Converter to use KASC on PC

Can anyone suggest the best Konami ASC converter for a Windows Vista platform? weblinks appreciated :-)

I don't know if any old PS2 to PC converter would work, since I know the KASC has the buttons assigned "weird"

thanks for help!

I'm using a brandless PS2->PS3 converter (PS2->USB) for my pop'n controller. The pop'n controller is merely a PS2 controller with the button down soldered, so it should work with any PS2->USB converter.

Theoretically that will introduce lag. As far as I know the best way is to use a parallel port adapter to a PCI or expresscard 34 parallel card. That should be lagless.

I'm using a Radioshack PS2-USB adapter with the polling rate on my USB ports set to 250mghz. Works perfect.

Alright, well I have both an IIDX USKOC, and a V1 Pop'n mini con. And I'm using a generic ebay adapter. (the clear blue dual contrller adapter that was $4 shipped. I haven't experienced any lag at all with it.

But what I think is trying to be said is that the right yellow button is stuck in the up/right position as joy2key says, but then other things can see it in the down/left, down/right position when it's not pressed. And when you press it, the down button is released. I've tried a thousand and one ways to get it to work with no luck. And every other button has worked perfectly for me. I just don't want to be stuck playing 5 key anymore.

Anyone have any ideas to get past this?

EDIT: Okay, so after several hours of trial and error, I fixed it. And of course, it was the easiest out of the bunch to do. I don't know about the parallel adapters, but I got the USB adapter working perfect with my controller. Since you see the down button for the right yellow button is set the way it is, you have to calibrate it. What I did was go into the control panel and go to the game controllers configuration. What you want to do here is press and hold that button, and calibrate it, and just click ok through the entire process. Repeat it again, but this time do not hold the button. And now you have a perfect working controller.

I'm just surprised nobody has mentioned this before.
