Default DIY ASC Button sensitivity

Hi,
I am wanting to order some buttons for my pop'n asc today. I was all set and ready to order them from happ controls until I did some more research and people were saying that they werent as sensitive as the coinopexpress buttons. Is it worth trying to get the coinopexpress buttons ? Does anyone sell them only 9 at a time instead of in the hundreds ? Or should I just get the happs, and when I get good enough to care about sensitivity try some of the button mods people have been doing ? Bottom line is I want to make sure I get good buttons that will last me forever, but not hinder me when I get into the really fast stuff.

Edit: also what about the wico buttons ?

Thanks,
Linc

I sell single sets of Coinop Express buttons with optional Cherry or Zippy switches. Email me if you're interested, Steve at desktoparcade dot com

For what it's worth, I've got the Happ buttons, and I actually was able to really ramp up the sensitivity by supergluing small (very small) squares of posterboard on the top of the microswitch activator. I had to customize it for each button individually; some needed three layers, some needed five. Just kept adding layers until it kept the button triggered, then removed one layer and glued them on. The buttons are all very sensitive. Any downward motion at all is enough to trigger it.

Hey Petricore,

Apparently my email to you (I replied almost immediately since i was in front of my computer at the time you emailed me) bounced back. So I'll PM you.

For everyone's knowledge - The price per set with Zippy switches is $60 plus shipping ($65 with Cherry switches, but I very very very strongly recommend Zippys over Cherrys for Pop'n Music). Very competitive with Happ's price and, you don't have to deal with their horrible packing jobs and overly expensive shipping
