Drum'N Fry?

Ok, so i just recently unlocked this on Pop'n Music 11 and i saw that it was a bit out of my league on hyper. Well, i played it and the beginning was easy and everything was easy until the very end. How do you do the end of the song? Does 11 have a training mode to slow it down and practice it or na? If i could just get down the end i would do pretty good on it. Anyone with experience with this song please let me know. Thanks!

What level is it? I'll pop in 12 when I get home and try it.

It's like a 36-- the 36 meaning going from a 12 to 20 then HOLY SHIT!! It averages out....

Try Training Mode, it might have a speed setting to slow it down, or play the song for your EX stage. It might help passing it.

Oh and it's an awesome remix of Comic Song. From pop'n 4 or 5 I think... Maybe earlier.

COMIC SONG is from 5, and it's only on 5CS, unless a certain (robo)man happened to vote for it on 13CS...

The ending is sometimes a lot easier to read with S-Random. Not saying it's easier, but it's easier to read. It can be quite the jack fest.

Man, i really wanna clear this song. It is a great song and it's quite easy till that end part. It goes from being like, "this is cool.." to going to "OH SHIT WHAT HAPPENED??!!?! FAIL!??!?"

yeah, it does sneak up on you....

So my advice is this. Keep practicing and try playing with higher speed settings.

I try and stray away from random. I kind of feel like I'm cheating myself by changing the notechart. I'm not talking smack on anyone that does choose to use random, it's just not for me.

Random, s-random and mirror is not cheating. I used to feel that it was for time but it isn't cheating. Most everyone does it for IIDX anyways. Besides, 9 buttons being randomized gives some interesting results when you need to hit a white-red-white chord

True, but i hardly ever use random anyways. Only when i just play for fun and not for high scores and such. I'll try it with a higher speed setting and i'll let you guys know how i do. Hopefully i get it down cause Drum'N Fry is a fun song and a very cool song for that matter.

Yes, but my thoughts on the matter are this. Someone wrote out that notechart. It should be able to be played, though it may be difficult. I just want to play it the way whoever wrote the notechart intended. I'm not saying using random is bad, but I want to beat the songs in their unaltered forms. I won't count a random pass as a pass.

This is just me though, you can do whatever you want.

This is just me though, you can do whatever you want.

I feel the same way about random and S-random. It alters the note chart so it isn't the original note chart you are accomplishing. Therefore, you just beat a random note chart and it shouldn't be counted as actually beating the song. Eh, but people can do whatever they want i guess, and the options are in the game. Staying away from random is good though. Until you beat the song of course with the original chart.

Drm N Fry is as thus: It's fucking hard. Random, Sran, Mirror, etc aren't going to help you all that much. If you want to see how to do it, FoxxyIchibo made a video for it in the videos thread, 5 goods/1 bad, and it's the best I've ever seen anyone do on it.
