Of course. It's the only way to unlock EXs in 7 and 8, and for the new songs on any locked arcade version.

Don't remind me... 9key is pretty much impossible on a dualshock and EXs are the last thing I have to unlock... *note to self: BUY POP'N CONTROLLER*

There are no special extra stages or OMEs like in IIDX though.

It's the same with 5CS and 6CS. Though, at this point, the only EX you need on 5CS is Taiyo.

Omg this site is very very helpful. It shows us all the skill points we need to get to unlock the extra stage.

Also it can also shows us from PnM 7~14 challenge point data including when the machine is set to 3 songs, 4 or even 5 songs! Just change the path "ac14" to "ac??" (?? means the series you want).
