Question Help, my Pop'n ASC / PC connection with PCI-LPT card

Please help with the DJ dao Pop'n ASC / PC connection
I bought a DJ dao Pop'n ASC from official site around a month ago.

My new PC has no LPT port so that I bought one PCI -> LPT for it.

Basically I would like to use Psx which I got that from Dao, but it only read the I/O address from 0x378 (the legacy onboard LPT port I/O address..), so it couldn't find my PCI-LPT port.
It seems no idea for me to change or bind the PCI-LPT I/O address to 0x378... so I get to another method.

I used PPJOY83 (also provided from Dao) with configuration (LPT3, Playstation Pad, NTPad XP)
after the configuration, I plug my Pop'n ASC to the PC, windows could find the controller namely LPT3:NTpad XP Playstation pad 1.
most of the buttons are OK and the signal was detected, however there are two buttons is not work. (the WHITE on left and the GREEN on right)

I confirmed my ASC is in good condition as well as my PCI-LPT card

Any suggestions, bros? I have already stuck there for a month....

What you need to do is go into your button configuration in PPJOY and add those inputs. There should be a listing for 'analog' and 'digital' inputs. I believe by default, it only adds 9 inputs on each. Add inputs 10-13 on your controller in both the 'analog' and 'digital' page of inputs and it should open up all the buttons to register as presses. Also, delete any POV hats that are set up (I believe default is 1) as this causes directional input that will mess with your button presses.

Hope this helps!

thanks for your help, I have tried to add buttons for digital signal and analog signal from 0 to 12 before, this time I added the digital 13 and the dead button is fixed now... Super thanks~

but now, it comes up with another problem.... is that after I reboot the computer and plug in the ASC, one of the button keep blinking.
hopefully that is not a music button, it just like being hitting continuously.

Then I remove the PPjoy controller and add it again, the problem is still here.

Little experience sharing.

When I got the Dao's Pop'n ASC, it uses standard PS2 as the input interface. It also comes with a PS2 -> LPT cord for using on PC.

unfortunately my PC has no build in LPT port, so I go to computer center to find USB to PS2 controller cord. I can easily find it out and it works on my PC. I think USB is extremely convenience to use.

PC --> USB --> PS2 --> Pop'n ASC

but then, i found it the buttons I pushed is laggy, there are somehow a bit delay. So I decided to purchase a PCI-LPT for using LPT connection.

This is much much better than USB, I can't feel any delay on the key I hit when I use LPT.

To conclude, a good ASC, good connection and configuration make Pop'n music SO COOL!

It's actually supposed to be designed that way. The buttons you are seeing 'continuously pressed' are pertinent to correct operation with a PS2 system. When you plug it into the PS2, that continuous loop of signal is seen as a Pop'n Music ASC and it changes the interface of the game to show buttons on the ASC instead of the PS2 controller. It should not affect the PC usage because there are no buttons attached to that loop of signal. Hope this helps explain it a little bit more.
