Default Home made Pop'n Arcade...

edit: I found a legitimate, non-pirated Pop'n Music 15 hard drive on Craigslist, and I'm just wondering: How easy would it be to run Pop'n (15) off of say, a Shuttle PC? I'm wondering because I don't know the specs of the newer machines. I know most Shuttle PCs have some sort of Nvidia integrated graphics chip...dunno if that'd be sufficient.

My dream is to have a little arcade station: Very compact PC + Pop'n 15 HDD + ASC.
Perhaps even an Mac Mini with an Intel CPU would work. The video specs for those are: Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM.

So my question is this: What are the specs for the newer machines? Do you really need a dedicated video card to run it well?

You aren't allowed to talk about any piracy whatsoever in these forums. Mods :roadofLoQ: please.

Fine. I encountered a real, legitimate Pop'n Music 15 hard drive on Craigslist. Better?

This question isn't about piracy, it's about machine specs. Thanks for your understanding.

I believe the hard drives are only made to run off the correct bemani hardware, and simply plugging the hard drive into a computer will not run, or allow you to play the game. You would need to hack it to even consider doing that, however discussion of hacking is not allowed on the bemanistyle forums.

Also you found a listing on Craigslist? I seem to highly doubt that.

an AC HDD wont work with the dongle.

No matter how you hide it by saying that it's some stuff from Craigslist or something from Uncle Dundee's Taxi Trunk, it's still HDD Data. No talks related to that is allowed in this forum.
